She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Emory. Before joining Emory in 2017, she was a faculty member in the Biostatistics Department at University of Alabama at Birmingham for 13 years.  Her research experience includes genetics, genomics, epigenomics, and observational studies.  She has collaborated extensively in studies of kidney disease, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, and nutrition. Her current research interests include method development and data analysis of various "omics" and electronic health records.
