In this role she provides leadership and oversight of key administrative functions of the hospital to include Canteen Service, Community Care, Voluntary Service, Emergency Management, Facilities Management, Fire Service, Fiscal Service, Police Service, Health Administration, Supply Chain Management, Laundry Service, Nutrition and Food Service, Privacy Office and Prosthetics Service. Prior to this role she was the Supervisory Health Systems Specialist to the Associate Director Patient Care Service at VA Northern Indiana Health Care System. Ms. Tarr joined the VA in 2005 and has worked in various roles throughout her tenure to include Nursing Service Administrative Officer and Customer Service Manager. She has also served at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. Ms. Tarr is a Veterans Health Administration Certified Mentor, a graduate of the VISN 11 Leadership Development Program, VHA Graduate Health Administrative Training Program, and VHA Health Care Leadership Development Program in 2017. Ms. Tarr earned her Master of Business Administration Health Care Management in 2008 and is a United States Navy Veteran.
