Dr. Gronek is a U.S. Air Force Veteran who has served in the Deputy Chief of Staff role since August 2021 and has been instrumental in many process changes and initiatives to include RCI, Michigan Market, and  the transfers and admissions process to and from inpatient programs at the Battle Creek VAMC. Prior to accepting the role of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr. Gronek served as ACOS of Specialty Service at the Battle Creek VAMC.
