Dumont has held leadership positions as Chief of Sterile Processing and Chief Logistics Officer at Manchester VA Medical Center, New Hampshire. Prior to assuming his current position, Dumont was Chief Facility Supply Chain Officer for VA Maine Healthcare System.

Dumont joined VA after serving 20 years in the U.S. Army, where he participated in four combat campaigns: OPERATION Just Cause, OPERATION Desert Storm, OPERATION Joint Endeavor, and OPERATION Iraqi Freedom.

Dumont is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Materials & Resource Professional. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Association for Health Care Resource & Materials Management, and the Project Management Institute.

He has completed a post baccalaureate certificate in Supply Chain Management and is a member of the Delta Mu Delta international honor society.

Dumont completed a bachelor’s degree in business studies and organizational leadership, a master’s in business administration, and a master’s in operations and project management from Southern New Hampshire University.
