In this capacity, he has the primary oversight for the administrative, regulatory, capital investments, labor relations, customer service and community partnership functions at the clinic; plus, he provides oversight of Voluntary, Chaplain, Prosthetics and Sensory Aids, and Veteran Experience across CTVHCS. Mr. Farias began his VA career in June 2011 as an Administrative Fellow at the VA Maine Health Care System. In May 2012, Mr. Farias relocated to the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System to become the Administrative Officer for Mental Health. In January 2014, he was selected as the Executive Assistant to the Director at the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System.

Mr. Farias was appointed as the Executive Assistant to the Director at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in October 2015. Mr. Farias is LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt certified and a 2014 graduate of the VISN 17 Leadership Development Institute (LDI) Program. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Mr. Farias received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Texas A&M University.
