Dr. Pelletier completed his 27-year Navy career in 2011.  Upon retirement he worked the following three years within the Veteran’s Health Administration both at the Ralph H Johnson VAMC and the Palo Alto VAMC.  He was then an assistant professor in the undergraduate baccalaureate nursing programs at the University of South Carolina Beaufort and The Citadel. He returned to the Ralph H. Johnson VAMC in December 2020 as a VA Nursing Academic Partnership (VANAP) Faculty member. Dr Pelletier earned his BSN from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, his MS from the University of Maryland University College, and his PhD from the Medical University of South Carolina.
