In his current role, he is responsible for all media and special event coordination for the medical center and four community based outpatient clinics. In addition, he is the facility Voluntary Service Officer and oversees Patient Advocacy/Congressional Relations. He has held various administrative positions with the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center since 1997. Mr. Walls received his Master’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from West Virginia University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fairmont State University. He is a VA nationally certified mentor and a 2018 Health Care Leadership Development Program graduate.
