She previously served in the acting role since January 2022.

Most recently, she worked as the Associate Administrator at Greenville Health Care Center. As the Associate Administrator Ms. Fredrickson was responsible for the health care center and community-based outpatient clinic operations, providing VA health care services to 19,000 Veterans in rural Eastern North Carolina. She has extensive experience in leadership, including oversight of health administration services, scheduling, beneficiary travel, eligibility and enrollment, supply chain management operations, and maintenance. Her leadership was also instrumental during two COVID-19 surges, ensuring continuous operations and health care services to  Veterans. Prior to her role as Associate Administrator, Ms. Fredrickson was chief of Prosthetics at the Durham VA  Health Care System. She began her VA career as a STEP student in the Business Office at the Omaha VA Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She holds an Associate Degree in Psychology and Sociology, a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health, and a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration. Her professional strengths include developing supervisory education and training programs, as well as employee experience and engagement.
