Lee began her career with the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2010. Prior to accepting her current appointment as CFO at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, she served as CFO at the Amarillo VA Health Care System in Amarillo, Texas. Lee also served as the clinic manager of the Lubbock Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Lubbock, Texas, during periods of transition of the largest CBOC in that Health Care System.

Lee is a retired U.S. Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer (CWO). While serving in the U. S. Marine Corps, she worked as a financial manager and a court reporter at locations around the globe. Lee is originally from Olympia, Washington and currently resides in Shreveport, Louisiana with her family. She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
