A Houston native, Vamsee Potluri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 2011 and dual master’s degrees, in Health Care Administration and Business Administration in 2013, all from the University of Houston. He then completed an Administrative Fellowship with the VA Capitol Health Care Network in 2014 and is a graduate of the VHA 2018 Health Care Leadership Development Program (HCLDP). In 2018, he was also recognized with the American College of Health Care Executive’s Early Careerist Healthcare Executive Regent Award. Vamsee Potluri is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Mr. Potluri most recently served as the Chief of the Business Office/Patient Care Administrative Service at the VA Northeast Ohio Health Care System. Mr. Potluri served as the Executive Administrative Officer to the Associate Director for Finance and assisted in the development of the Healthcare and Business Operations Department at the VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS). Prior to that, he served in various roles to include the Ambulatory Care Operations Director-Group Practice Manager, the Business Manager for Ambulatory and Emergency Care Clinical Center (AECCC) and Health System Specialist to the Chief of Staff for the VAMHCS.

Mr. Potluri serves as a VA national subject matter expert on Clinic Practice Management and he chairs numerous national committees and workgroups. Mr. Potluri has developed a number of Business Intelligence tools which are nationally recognized for improving efficiency and access to care. Mr. Potluri also served on the Board of Directors for the Maryland Association of Health Care Executives.
