Mrs. McKenzie-Hobbs began her VA career in 2010 and formerly served as the Chief of Patient Administration Service at the Jesse Brown VAMC. She has over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, including 17 years in the private sector, and 2 years as Vice President with direct responsibility for Utilization Management, Social Work, Engineering/Facilities Management, Environmental Management Services, Food and Nutrition Service, Canteen Service, Public Safety/Security and Health Information Management.

Mrs. McKenzie-Hobbs, a native of Jamaica, received her degree in Health Information Management from Illinois State University and is licensed as a Registered Health Information Administrator.  She holds a  Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration and Finance from Roosevelt University College of Business. Mrs. McKenzie-Hobbs is a board-certified healthcare executive and fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
