He was appointed Assistant Director at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System on September 29, 2019. In this capacity, he is charged with the overall administration of Group Practice Management, Systems Redesign and Data Analytics, SAIL Coordination, Facility Planning, Community Based Outpatient Clinics, and the Ambulatory Care Center.

Prior to joining VALLHS, Mr. Mancari was the Group Practice Manager at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. While in this role he focused on improving access to care for Veterans, implementing new scheduling practices and directing the development of innovative tools to make providing care easier.

In addition, Mr. Mancari was a Health System Specialist in VA Central Office, in the Office of the VHA Chief of Staff and the Office of Primary Care Services where he was able to lead workgroups that resulted in changes to policy and procedure at a national level. Mr. Mancari started his career in 2011 as an Administrative Fellow in the Graduate Healthcare Administration Training Program at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System where he found a passion for Systems Redesign and Data Analytics.

Mr. Mancari is a native of Upstate New York where he earned a BS in Psychobiology from Binghamton University in 2008 and a MBA in Healthcare Administration from Union Graduate College in 2011.
