Ms. West is a senior healthcare facilities planner for major leases/construction in the Office of Construction & Facilities Management (CFM), VA Central Office. She has worked for the VA for 14 years serving in a variety of roles within CFM and VHA, including Acting Chief of Planning, Interim Associate Director, as well as Interim Associate Director for Outpatient Operations. As a facility planner, she has planned several complex major construction projects of up to 1.5M square feet.  She is a graduate of Leadership VA (LVA) Class of 2012 and HCLDP.  Ms. West is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and is a Fellow of the Health Facilities Institute (HFI). Ms. West was recognized with the 2020 Project Delivery Team of the Year issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for her team’s work on the Canandaigua VA Medical Center project in New York. She is a graduate of the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Master of Healthcare Administration.
