Kimberly Adkins, graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, with a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership.

Mrs. Adkins is a graduate of the VISN 16 Leadership Development Institute and VA's Health Care Leadership Development Program.

Mrs. Adkins has been a Federal employee since May of 1989 where she began her career as a clerk-typist with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. She has served with the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System.  She came to the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in early 2021.

Mrs. Adkins is the granddaughter of a World War II Air Force Veteran, the wife of a Navy (submariner) Veteran, and the mother of an active-duty Navy Air Framer. She feels her mission is to serve our nation's heroes and fully subscribes to VA's ICARE Values of "Integrity, Commitment, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence."
