The PACT Act is the largest expansion of Veterans health care and benefits in decades, and benefits millions of Veterans of the Vietnam War, Gulf War, and post-9/11 eras who were exposed to toxic fumes, burn pits, Agent Orange, radiation, and other environmental hazards.
“This historic new law adds to the list of health conditions that are presumed by exposure to these substances,” says Dr. Ngozi Efobi, Chief of Staff. “It provides generations of Veterans – and their survivors – with the care and benefits they’ve earned and deserve.”
Staff will be on site to assist with the enrollment process, and toxic exposure screenings will also be offered.
VA benefits and claims representatives will be in attendance to answer disability and compensation questions.
The Martinsburg VAMC encourages all Veterans and survivors to apply for their PACT Act-related health care and benefits now, and for those who cannot make this in-person event, visit VA.gov/PACT or call 1-800-MYVA411 to learn more about the PACT Act.
