Jackson Straughan, PharmD, received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy and his bachelor’s degree in Biology at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin. He is currently completing his PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at the Green Bay VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic and is also participating in patient care laboratory activities for both UW-Madison School of Pharmacy and the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. His main interests are in Cardiology, Mental Health, and Primacy Care. After residency, Jackson wishes to find a Primacy Care position within the VA where he can build long-lasting relationships with veterans. Jackson grew up in Heber City, Utah and in his free time outside of residency, he enjoys coaching football, riding his bike, kayaking, and going on walks with his wife.
