In this role, Ms. Williams is responsible for nursing practice throughout the medical center and community clinics.  In addition, she has programmatic oversight for Social Work, Nursing Education and Research, Community Living Centers, Physical Therapy, Nutrition & Food Service, and the Sterile Processing Division.

Ms. Williams has been a dedicated VA employee for more than 15 years.  She began her career at VA as a nursing assistant.  She has served in a variety of clinical and administrative roles during her time at VA, including staff nurse for Oncology Services, Assistant Nurse Manager for Oncology Services, Nurse Program Manager for Progressive Care and Medical-Surgical Services, and Division Manager for Acute Outpatient Nursing Services.  Ms. Williams has experience working as a case manager and adjunct nursing professor for the Milwaukee Area Technical College System.

Ms. Williams earned her Bachelor of Nursing Science degree from Mount Mary University and her Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Health Administration degrees from the University of Phoenix.  Ms. Williams is a graduate of the VA Health Care Leadership Program and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
