Update to Audiology Clinic Appointments

Improving Veteran's access to care is our top priority. We're thrilled to announce the expansion of our same-day care clinics across all audiology campuses in VA Northern California Health Care System that now offer routine care "on-demand" for hearing aid services.

If your hearing aids aren't working, are too loud, or your cell phone or TV streamer isn't connecting to your hearing aids, there's no need to make an appointment—just drop by a same-day clinic for immediate help. We have talented teams of audiologists and healthcare technicians to keep your hearing aids in top working order.

Did you know that we can program most hearing aids using your cell phone from the comfort of your own home? Make sure you have a valid email address and inquire about VA Video Connect (VVC) appointments with your provider!

We are also now offering complete audiology services at Auburn and Yreka, with Yuba City, Sonora, Stockton, and Modesto to follow. Watch out for updates on launch dates.

For non-routine hearing aid services, like any hearing test, you still need an appointment. Remember that audiology is a direct access clinic, so you don't need to get a referral to make a hearing test appointment—call the call center at 1-800-382-8387.

Our on-demand same-day clinics and VVC appointments have replaced routine hearing aid appointments. While we work to expand the hours of the same-day clinics if the current hours don't work for you, contact your provider to book a scheduled slot.

Same-day clinic hours:

AUBURN: Tuesdays & Thursdays 8:00AM-11:30AM

CHICO: Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8:00 AM-11:30AM; Thursdays 8:00AM-11:30AM and 1:00PM-3:00PM
