Enrolled Veteran patients can get flu shots in the following ways at VA: During a Primary Care in-person visit During a Specialty Care in-person visit During a Mental Health in-person visit During an ER visit During an inpatient admission At any of our community locations Veteran Health Indiana provides scheduled, by appointment only, COVID-19 testing to Veterans at the front of the main medical center downtown, in the parking lot next to West 10th Street. The VA Emergency Room does not provide COVID testing, except for emergent cases. Call your primary care provider or (317) 988-1772 to speak with them about your testing needs. Testing hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you recently came in contact with someone with COVID and have minimal symptoms, keep isolated from others to avoid possible spread and monitor your symptoms until you can schedule an appointment for a COVID test.
