North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System is one of the nation's leading VA healthcare systems, providing care to over 138,000 Veterans and employing more than 5,800 medical professionals and support staff.
Ms. Dottor has also served as Deputy Executive Director since 2016. Primary responsibilities for this role include providing overall leadership and direction for resource management, facilities/environmental management, and program management functions. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Dottor served as Chief of Performance Improvement Service. She also previously served as Revenue Coordinator and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In her previous role as CFO, she developed and executed an annual budget of over $900 million, and secured funding for multiple projects, including two new large specialty outpatient clinics and a 208 operating bed tower. During her time as Revenue Coordinator and Assistant Chief of the Business Office/Finance, she led interdisciplinary teams in building processes and using technology to build a highly successful revenue program, increasing collections from $8 million to $72 million prior to the transition to the Consolidated Patient Account Center.
Ms. Dottor earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in economics from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and a Masters in Health Administration from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.
