Since 2013, Mr. Kim previously served in numerous VA Puget Sound leadership roles such as acting assistant director, section director for Community and Residential Care Services, which includes oversight of the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitative Treatment Programs and Therapeutic Supported Employment Services. Prior to joining VA Puget Sound, he worked at VA Palo Alto Health Care System managing its Substance Abuse Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program. Kim completed his Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Georgia State University, his clinical internship at VA Palo Alto Health Care System and was a post-doctoral fellow in clinical psychology at Stanford University. Kim is a graduate of Leadership VA (2011), VHA’s Health Care Leadership Development Program (2015), and the Executive Candidate Development Program (2017).
