Mrs. Miraldi has responsibility for all Nursing programs and personnel, as well Geriatrics and Extended Care, Social Work Service, Home Based Primary Care, Case Management, Office of Education, Sterile Processing Services, Infection Control and Chaplaincy, programs serving Veterans across the state of Vermont and four counties in New Hampshire.

Mrs. Miraldi began her career at the NY Regional Burn Center at NY Hospital/Cornell/Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City, in 1980. In 1985 she began her work at the White River Junction VAMC, first as a staff nurse, then Nurse Manager, in the Intensive Care Unit. She worked as a clinical research coordinator, Administrative Officer for Research & Development and the Executive Director of the Collaborative Medical Research Corporation from 1997 to 2008. Ms. Miraldi obtained her Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Vermont in 1998, with a focus on community health and nursing administration.

Mrs. Miraldi successfully completed the VA's Healthcare Leadership Institute and graduated from the Executive Career Field Development Program in 2009. She participated in the Federal Executive Institute's Federal Executive Leadership Program, is LEAN Yellow Belt Certified, and is a VHA Certified Mentor at the Fellow-Level. Throughout her career, Mrs. Miraldi has focused on initiatives to improve the quality of patient care and patient satisfaction, and empowerment and development of nurses and others.

Mrs. Miraldi is the daughter of a Veteran of the Korean war, and the mother of two active duty Army soldiers. Mrs. Miraldi is proud to be a long serving member of the White River Junction VA community and honored to provide leadership in promoting excellent patient care for our Veterans.
