  • Testing and screening for hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and other infectious diseases
  • Prevention strategies and treatment
  • Compassionate care and counseling for people who are living with infectious diseases

The clinic provides the same quality care for Veterans living with HIV or Veterans prescribed HIV pre-prophylaxis (PrEP) medication as the face-to-face Infectious Disease clinic appointment. It adds the benefit of no drive to Portland.

 

Monkeypox Vaccine Information

VA Portland is offering the Monkeypox Vaccine on 10/1/2022 (Dose 1) and 10/29 (Dose 2) for Veterans only.  If Veterans have received their first dose 28 days before either of the two clinic dates, they are able to get the second dose at the VA if preferred over the site initially booked with.  Veterans may also seek vaccination via community partners.
