WHO IS A WOMAN VETERAN?

A woman is a Veteran if she served in the active military, naval or air service and separated under any conditions other than dishonorable.  There are more than two million women Veterans living in the U.S. today.  Women are the fastest growing group in the Veteran population.  In 2000, women were 4% of the Veteran population. By 2040, women will be 18% of the Veteran population.
