In his capacity as ADO for Austin, Mr. Baghdadi has the primary oversight for the administrative, regulatory, capital investments, labor relations, customer service and community partnership functions at the clinic as well as responsible for the overall management of Voluntary, Chaplain, Prosthetics and Sensory Aids, and Veteran Experience across CTVHCS. Mr. Baghdadi began his VA career in June 2003 as an Administrative Resident at the STVHCS. Prior to being select ADO for Austin, Mr. Baghdadi served as the Chief, Systems Engineering Service at STVHCS during which time he was a key change agent in the early part of their journey to a High Reliability Organization. From 2011 to 2019, he served as Chief Quality Management Officer leading STVHCS through several external reviews including three successful Joint Commission accreditation surveys. Mr. Baghdadi has diversified experience in multiple care settings and has worked in consulting, private sector, and public affairs. He has a B.S. Degree in Biochemistry & Genetics from Texas A&M University and a dual Master Health Administration/Master Business Administration degree from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. He is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives (FACHE), a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB).
