Alaska VA Healthcare is scheduling Veterans, family members, and caregivers for COVID-19 vaccinations appointments.

If you are a Veteran, please call your local facility to schedule an appointment:

The COVID-19 Moderna vaccine is given in two doses (28 days after the first dose) while the Janssen vaccine is given in one dose.

We are constantly reviewing our COVID-19 vaccination process and looking for opportunities to maximize with the widest and quickest methods to provide the vaccination to Veterans.

When more information is available, Alaska VA Healthcare will let Veterans know of areas administering vaccines to Veterans via its website, email distribution, social media, and other media.

COVID tests can be arranged through your primary care provider for symptomatic Veterans. Please call your Primary Care Team or the Veteran Triage line at 907-257-4710.
