Mr. Hagerman has over 15 years of professional experience in the VA medical system. Most recently, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center for the past eight years as well as the Chief Financial Officer for the Jonathan M. Wainwright VA for the past three years.

A Veteran, Mr. Hagerman served 13 years in the U.S. Navy providing submarine administration support and qualifying as a submarine crew member. Duty stations included California, Virginia, and Washington states. He also had a combat tour during Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm where he worked as a protocol driver for United States Central Command (Forward).

Mr. Hagerman graduated from the VA Technical Career Field (TCF) Budget Analyst program in 2012 while at the Anchorage VA Medical Center.
