Prior to this appointment, Dr. LoVette served as the Executive Assistant (HSS) to the Medical Center Director and Supervisor for the Office of Veterans Experience & Employee Engagement at VA Ann Arbor Health Care System (VAAAHS).  Dr. LoVette began her VA career as a Graduate Health Care Administrative Training Program (GHATP) Resident at the Network Office in VISN 11 (2012-13), and has served in Administrative Officer and Health Systems Specialist roles for clinical, administrative and Executive Leadership during her more than 10 years of service to our Nation’s Heroes.  Dr. LoVette is a 2018 graduate of the Health Care Leadership Development Program (HCLDP), earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Master of Arts/Master of Health Care Administration from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan and completed her doctorate in Health Care Administration in December 2019 from Capella University.  She is Green Belt-certified and brings to the MidCon more than 15 years of marketing & management experience.

She proudly served her country in the United States Army from 1989 -1992, is a mother to four adult children, a member of City Life Lansing’s community outreach church, and an avid sports fan.  Dr. LoVette is also a Michigan State University alum and loves all things Spartan Nation!
