Michael W. Nagy, PharmD, BCACP is an Assistant Professor at Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) School of Pharmacy. He teaches topics focused on geriatrics, endocrinology, urology, and pain therapeutics. He is also a clinical pharmacy specialist in primary care at the Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. He is actively involved within the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin as an Editorial Advisory Board member of The Journal and in the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy as the Chair of the Geriatrics Pharmacy special interest group. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy and completed two years of ambulatory care residency training at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI. He is passionate about teaching and mentoring student pharmacists focusing on utilizing population health management to build critical thinking skills and provide evidenced-based, compassionate and proactive care to patients.
