Mr. Michael “Chad” Cartwright was appointed as the Associate Medical Center Director of Cheyenne VA Medical Center on April 20, 2018. Mr. Cartwright started his career at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center 1997 and has served in Leadership Roles as Chief Information Officer, Quality Manager, and Lean Six Sigma coordinator. Prior to his federal appointment, he worked in the private sector as a Regional IT Manager, Netware Engineer and has owned his own business in the computer service industry. He is a graduate of the VA LDI program and is a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma with emphasis in Healthcare Improvement. After earning his Engineering degree, Mr. Cartwright served in the U.S. Navy where he earned his Masters in Business Administration. Chad is a Desert Storm Veteran.
