Dr. Nicks was raised in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmaceutical sciences. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy in 2020.

Dr. Nicks is currently a member of the College of Psychiatric & Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP), Magnolia State Pharmaceutical Society (MSPS), Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society, and DFW American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP).

Her professional interests include mental health, geriatrics, and academia.  In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, finding new recipes to cook on Pinterest, binge watching TV shows, listening to music, reading devotionals and fiction novels, and spending time with family and friends.
