Kendrick Brown was named acting executive medical center director of VA North Texas in March 2022. Mr. Brown was previously appointed deputy executive director of VA North Texas in Aug 2021, where he manages areas of logistics, engineering, human resources, pharmacy, prosthetics, health information management, and fiscal services; previously serving as associate director from July 2016 - Aug 2021.

Mr. Brown served as chief of engineering service at VA North Texas in 2009. Mr. Brown chaired or co-chaired various committees as well as participated in workgroups at the national level. His role as chief gave him direct management and oversight for more than 200 employees with diverse responsibilities, including medical equipment support, patient transportation, and project facilitation, with facility operations across three North Texas facilities and multiple community based outpatient clinics.

Mr. Brown entered the Department of Veterans Affairs in 1996 as a technical career field candidate. He has served in varied capacities in the department and has advanced through the leadership ranks of engineering service from projects supervisor, associate chief to selection as chief.

Mr. Brown received certification as a program/project manager through the Federal Acquisition Academy.
