She served as the Interim Deputy Director from January 3, 2021 through November 20, 2021.

Ms. O’Connor had served as the Director for Clinical Support under the Office of the Chief of Staff since October 2018, where she oversaw the operation, coordination, and administrative management of Chief of Staff services. Under her leadership, Ms. O’Connor has supported the Group Practice Management structure, improved call wait times and first call resolution at VAPAHCS. Previously, Ms. O’Connor served as the Assistant Chief, Ambulatory Care Service, from November 2013 through October 2018. Prior to her administrative work, she provided direct patient care as a physical therapist for 7 years.

Ms. O’Connor obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies in 2001, and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 from Boston University.
