She was serving as the Acting Chief of Health Administrative Services at the VA Pittsburgh HCS, and before that the Imaging Service Business manager. She began her career with the VHA in 2004 as a direct practice social worker. She held positions as the Executive Social Worker and social work manager for the Medical Center and Community Living Center.
She has served in a variety of leadership roles to include Acting Vice President of Geriatrics and Extended Care, Acting Executive Assistant to the VISN 4 Network Director, Acting Associate Director at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, Virginia, and Acting Assistant Director at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Ms. Gamble received her bachelor’s and master’s Degrees in social work from the University of Cincinnati. She also obtained her master’s degree in Public Administration from Cleveland State University. She is a graduate the VHA Health Care Leadership Institute (HCLI) and the VHA Executive Candidate Development Program (ECDP) programs. She is a proud graduate of LVA class of 2009 and an active member of the LVA Alumni Association. She is also a member of the American College for Healthcare Executives.
Ms. Gamble has utilized her clinical and administrative experiences to drive organizational change and improve the Veteran experience. She values a working environment where accomplishing the goal is more important than receiving credit, every contribution is valued, and people at all levels are mutually respected.
