The Sheridan Veterans Council humbly requests our fellow community members to join us on the following dates to honor our fallen heroes on Memorial Day weekend.

This year the ceremony will be focusing on the Korean War and, in particular, our own Wyoming National Guard’s participation in “The Forgotten War.” It will include guest speaker Senator John Barrasso, along with Veterans from multiple services plus Boy Scout Ian Gale and Girl Scout Marly Graham. Additionally, American Legion Post 7 will lead the annual Post Everlasting Ceremony, which includes other Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, plus the Fort Phil Kearny Frontier Regulars.

NOTE: INFORMATION HAS CHANGED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER FORECASTED TO START SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

STAKE & FLAG PLACEMENT \\\ Saturday, May 28 at 9 a.m. 
Volunteers needed to ensure stakes and flags are placed at the gravestones of all Veterans in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY \\\ Monday, May 30 at 10 a.m.
Ceremony at VFW Roy Eaton Post 1560 (located at 758 Broadway) to honor our fallen.
