She is also the Associate Chief of Staff for Primary Care and Primary Care ICC Site Director for the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System. She has been with the Sioux Falls VA for nearly13 years and during this time she has held multiple other positions including Aberdeen specific CBOC Medical Director, CBOC Medical Director overseeing all the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System’s CBOCs and the Wagner outreach clinic. Prior to joining VA, she practiced many years as a Primary Care Physician, Emergency Room Physician, and Hospitalist. Dr. Jark received her Bachelor of Science of Biology in 1984 and Bachelor of Science of Medicine in 1986 from the University of South Dakota and her MD degree in 1988 from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. She completed Family Practice residency at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa in 1991. She holds a Board Certification in Family Medicine.
