Mr. Brown joined STVHCS in October 2019 and serves as the Chief of the Corporate Compliance Office. From September 2014 – October 2019, Mr. Brown served as the Chief of Social Work Service at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. He also served a nine-month detail within the VA Central Office’s Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, and the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System from 2009-2014. 

Mr. Brown has graduated from Leadership VA in October 2021, the Harvard Kennedy School – Senior Executive Fellows Program in May 2018, the Health Care Leadership Development Program in August 2016, and the “Excellence in Government” Fellows Program through the Partnership for Public Service in August 2012. 

Mr. Brown has a Master of Social Work from Brigham Young University, a Master of Public Health from University of Utah, and Master of Health Administration from University of Utah.

Mr. Brown loves to read, run with his Weimaraner, paddle boarding, hiking, and spending as much time at the beach with his wife, and competes in as many triathlons as possible.
