For Enrolled Veterans: Where and How to Get a COVID Vaccine

Southeast Louisiana Veterans can receive a vaccine at VA by appointment or walk in. 

For questions about vaccines or to make an appointment, contact VA at 1-800-935-8387 extension 72819 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Please bring your vaccine card on return visits for second doses and boosters. 

Walk ins should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the close of the vaccine clinic. 


Vaccine Clinic Locations and Times 

New Orleans Veterans Medical Center, 2400 Canal Street

Monday—Friday     7 a.m.—2:30 p.m. 

Baton Rouge Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, 7968 Essen Park Avenue

The Baton Rouge Community-Based Outpatient Clinic offers Moderna vaccines on Wednesdays and Pfizer vaccines on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Tuesday and Thursday     8 a.m.—noon.

Wednesday     8 a.m.—noon.    

The Houma Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, 6433 West Park Avenue

Friday     1 p.m.—3 p.m.

The Hammond Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, 1131 South Morrison Boulevard

Wednesday     9 a.m.—3 p.m. 

The Slidell Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, 60491 Doss Drive, Suite B

Friday     8 a.m.—noon
