Prior to her appointment, Ms. Myers served as the Assistant Director and Interim Associate Director. During her career she has held numerous supervisory roles in the Business Office, Primary Care and Office of Information and Technology and has been detailed into various leadership roles throughout the organization. As Assistant Director, Ms. Myers has direct supervisory authority and responsibility for management, guidance and coordination of all operational elements of Environmental Management Service, Policy and Security, Voluntary Service, Veterans Transportation Service, Compensation and Pension Program, Community Based Outpatient Clinic oversight and Veterans Canteen Service.

Ms. Myers holds a Master’s Degree in Training and Development and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. She also holds a Master’s Certification from the George Washington University School of Business in Project Management and a Green Belt Lean Certification. Ms. Myers is a graduate of the VISN 9 Leadership Institute, the VHA Healthcare Development Leadership Program (HCLDP) and a VHA Certified Mentor.

Ms. Myers is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
