In this role, Mr. Renfrow is responsible for leading the operations and strategy for a large, complex 1A healthcare system with two medical centers and fifteen outpatient clinics, serving 110,000 Veterans in Tennessee and Kentucky. Tennessee Valley Healthcare System employs over 4,500 employees with an annual operating budget of over $1.2 billion.
Mr. Renfrow has served in various roles at VA since 2006, to include previously serving as the Deputy Director, VA Patient Experience Program; Acting Deputy Vice Chairman, VA Board of Veterans’ Appeals; Chief Consultant, VA Patient Experience; Senior Advisor for Safety, Security, and Preparedness Modernization to the VA Assistant Secretary for Operations, Security, and Preparedness; and Deputy Director for Plans, VA Office of Emergency Management.
Mr. Renfrow is an Air Force Veteran, serving on Active Duty from 2002-2006 and in the Maryland Air National Guard from 2006-2011.
