TVHS Flu Shot Day

Join us for the annual TVHS Flu Shot Day November 9 from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. Veterans may walk-in and get their flu vaccination at any location. Recently, there's been a spike in flu cases and hospitalizations in the middle Tennessee area. It's important to get vaccinated so you can spend more time with your family than at the doctor's office.

Walk-in clinics

Veterans can get a flu shot at their primary care appointments starting August 29. Veterans may also walk-in during the following times:

• Nashville: Walk-in Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in Pod C
• Murfreesboro: Walk-in Monday - Friday from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in Urgent Care lobby
• Chattanooga: Walk-in Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.; Flu and COVID-19 shots available Friday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. in main lobby
• Clarksville: Drive-thru clinic Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Albion: Walk-in clinic every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in main lobby
• Athens: Walk-in clinic every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 12:30 - 3 p.m. in main lobby
• Bowling Green: Walk-in clinic every Wednesday 1 - 4 p.m. in main lobby
• Charlotte Ave: Walk-in clinic every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the 3rd floor conference room
• Gallatin: Walk-in Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in main lobby
• International Plaza: Walk-in clinic every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on the 3rd floor
• Tullahoma: By appointment only

Additionally, Veterans can get their pneumonia vaccine while getting their flu shot. Ask your health care team to get protected against pneumonia.

Veterans can also get a free flu shot through an authorized community care provider. Visit the flu shot locator for a complete list of where you can get a free flu shot. Please remember to let your VA health care team know when you got your flu shot so we can add it to your health record.
