Dr. Bulatao earned his BS in Pharmacy from Duquesne University, his MS in Pharmacy from University of Texas at Austin, his MMAS from Command & General Staff College, and his PharmD from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Bulatao is also a former Army Veteran who has served in peacetime and during combat deployments as an infantry and pharmacy officer. Prior to joining the TVAMC team, Dr. Bulatao worked in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility including Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor, Ambulatory and Acute Adult Medicine Clinical Pharmacist, Assistant Director, Residency Program Director, Pharmacy Director, and Instructor and Associate Professor. In addition to serving as Chief of Pharmacy at TVAMC, Dr. Bulatao serves on a variety of committees throughout the facility including among others the Medical Staff Committee, Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, and the Strategic Planning Committee. He is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association (PPA). Outside of work, Dr. Bulatao enjoys family, sports, reading, and hiking.
