Availability will continue throughout the 2022/2023 flu season. Flu shots are given on a walk-in basis. Veterans can receive their flu shot separately or while receiving other care at Hines. For more information, call the Flu Vaccination Hotline at 708-202-8358. As of Dec. 23, 2022, curbside/drive-thru flu vaccinations are no longer offered. Veterans are also encouraged to receive a COVID-19 booster or initial vaccination. Bivalent boosters are available to those at least two months removed from their last vaccination or conventional booster dose, regardless of vaccine type.
