Unfortunately, due to the increase in positive COVID-19 cases, anyone coming to the VA should be aware we have other precautious in place: 

  • NAVAHCS is only authorizing visitation for End of Life to protect our inpatient Veterans.
  • All inpatient visits must be approved prior to arrival
  • Masks MUST be worn at all times
  • Please do not come on station unless you have a scheduled appointment, or you have an emergency
  • Please DO NOT come to the Emergency Department just for a COVID-19 test
    • If you have COVID-19 questions, start by calling the nurse advice line phone at 1-877-252-4866
      • They may assist with finding a testing site in your area if needed
    • Veterans can order 4 free at home COVID tests through the link: covidtests.gov
  • 1 caregiver can accompany a Veteran to their appointment
  • Nobody under the age of 18 is authorized entry
  • We are requesting that Veterans move their Face-to-Face routine appointments to a VA Virtual Care (VVC) appointment
