Media and press
The Public Affairs Office can assist local media with queries, interview requests, and expert information relating to the Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center. Members of the media are required to contact Public Affairs Officer, Linda Wondra, to arrange for either an in-person or virtual interview.

Patient privacy is important to us, as outlined by the 1996 Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The Public Affairs Office will assist with granting interviews whenever possible. Media access may be limited or denied to any area of the main facility or outpatient clinics at the discretion of the medical center director, a patient's health care team, or the Public Affairs Office.
If a request cannot wait until regular work hours, contact Linda Wondra, Public Affairs Officer, at 509-386-1117 for any media inquiries that occur after hours or on weekends. Otherwise, contact the operator at 509-525-5200 and ask for the administrator on duty.
