Screening
Veterans and visitors will be screened at the main entrance. Color coded wristbands will be issued to everyone who is permitted to enter the campus. The issuance of wristbands will limit the amount of times we ask the screening questions.
Masking
Masks are required inside the medical center. The only approved masks are N95, KN95, or medical-grade masks. Cloth masks, Gators, scarves, Neckerchiefs, and all cloth masks without N95 or equivalent filtration will be prohibited. If a mask is found to be non-compliant, a compliant mask will be provided.
Visitation
Inpatient visitation is limited to two visitors at a time between 09:00a.m. and 6:30p.m. unless approved by a provider. For patients that are COVID-19 positive, compassionate care visitation is permitted for those who are receiving end of life care.
Outpatient visitors will be limited to one adult essential companion if the patient must have someone to understand the treatment plan or assist with the patient’s care.
All visitors must check in at the front desk during normal business hours. If there is no one at the front desk or the visitation is after hours, please check in with the Administrative Officer of the Day (AOD) at the Emergency Department. Visitors must be 18 years or older, pass screening, and must comply with masking requirements. Alternatives to face-to-face visitation can be offered and accomplished through telephone and virtual methods.
Appointments
Options for virtual visits are available. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please contact your primary care aligned team.
