VA Video Connect (VVC)
Did you know you can connect with your VA providers from the comfort of your home? If you have internet in your home and have a computer, tablet, or mobile device, you can use an app called VA Video Connect (VVC) to see your provider through a telehealth appointment (watch this video to learn more and see how a VVC appointment works). VA Video Connect is easy to use and can be used for appointments that do not require an in-person exam, such as primary care, mental health counseling, clinical pharmacy, and nutrition appointments. Learn more about VA Video Connect at www.mobile.va.gov/app/va-video-connect.
Remember, you can ask your VA provider to help your appointments occur in-person at your local Montana VA Clinic, at your home through VA Video Connect, or as telehealth appointments at the Eureka VFW’s, MSU's, or UM's telehealth room
Talk with your VA provider about using VA Video Connect if:
- You live far from your VA facility or have limited access to VA facilities.
- You have health conditions that make traveling to the VA specialist you need difficult.
- Travel conditions (such as winter roads) create a challenge to having an in-person appointment.
- You lack time to regularly attend in-person appointments.
- You don’t require a hands-on physical examination.
VA Video Connect allows Veterans and their caregivers to quickly and easily meet with VA health care providers through live video on any computer, tablet, or mobile device with an internet connection.
