At the Raleigh Vet Center we offer individual and group counseling. We also provide referral to VA counseling resources and therapy resources in your community. Specialty care at our center includes:

Greensboro Vet Center - Mental health care
We also specialize in working with the unique needs of first responders, female Veterans, Veterans and service members from all eras.

- Anxiety and stress reactions
- Depression and lack of motivation
- Sleep difficulties, including sleep problems caused by shift work
- Anger, aggressive behavior, and reckless behaviors
- Overuse of alcohol or drugs
- Difficulties adjusting to civilian life following a deployment or activation

We offer individual and group counseling.
Our specialty care includes the following groups:
- Era-specific groups (Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq)
- Female Veteran groups
- Veteran book club and creative art classes
- Peer-support groups to educate all Veterans and service members on VA benefits and initiatives that are available
- Tai-chi classes
- Stroll for well-being stress reduction sessions

- Combined combat support group
All groups require an intake and screening process before joining.

Our staff is a diverse group, both male and female, with many of the staff being Veterans themselves, or having vast knowledge and/or experience working with Veterans, service members, and military communities.
