Counselors can provide services in individual or group settings. Virtual appointments are available.

We provide education to family members regarding the Veteran or service member’s military-related experiences, concerns, or transition from military to civilian life.

We also host virtual workshops and relationship seminars.

Raleigh Vet Center has two Licensed Marriage and Family therapists who can provide services such as:

• Significant Other group
• Couples counseling
• Family counseling

We are happy to meet together with you and your family members based upon needs. We have a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor who specializes in helping families function their best!  We have a Partner Support Group for Partners and Caregivers of Veterans diagnosed with PTSD, and our Parenting group offers dinner and professional childcare. 

We have a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) on-site to offer family and couples counseling.

We also offer spouse and significant other groups.

We recognize the benefits of including family members in treatment. We’re honored to be able to support Veterans and service members with these services. If you consider them family, we do too.

We’re also in direct partnership with our local VAMC to make referrals in the event that your needs exceed what we can provide. 

We are happy to meet with you and your family members based on your needs. The counselors at our facility use various methods of treatment when it comes to couples or family sessions. 

We encourage our Veterans and service members to address any personal concerns through individual therapy that can coincide with family therapy; this can help with getting the most value out of your sessions. During individual therapy, the counselors can offer opportunities for your partner or other family members to join in the session, once or twice. This can provide an opportunity for your family members to learn more about your needs and ways to best support you during your treatment.

Counseling is available to couples, or as an individual, based on your needs.

We use VA Video Connect (VVC) to provide services via telehealth. VVC allows for those who are unable to conduct in-person visits to still engage with their counselors without having to come to the Vet Center.
