Manchester Vet Center offers individual and group counseling.

We commonly address the following concerns:

• Anxiety or stress reactions, like PTSD
• Depression or lack of motivation
• Sleep difficulties, including sleep problems caused by shift work
• Anger, aggressive behavior, and reckless behaviors
• Overuse of alcohol or drugs
• Difficulties adjusting to civilian life following a deployment or activation

Here are some of the evidence-based treatments we offer:

• Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)
• Motivational Interviewing (MI)
• Internal Family Systems (IFS)

We at the Lewiston Vet Center are all Veterans ourselves, and are trained in trauma-focused modalities to assist the Veteran or service member in the successful treatment of MST.

Here at the Lewiston Vet Center we offer individual and group counseling, and offer referral services to appropriate VA and community resources to assist Veterans and service members.  

Care at the Lewiston Vet Center includes:

• One-on-one hour-long counseling sessions tailored for the Veteran or service member’s needs
• Various Group counseling options for Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans, Vietnam Veterans, Spouse/Significant Others and more.

• Learn more about housing and VA home loans.

The Eugene Vet Center can also connect you to Veterans Service Organizations in your community.
